I point you to places I’ve stayed and kit I put in my own bag, and the ranking follows what’s good rather than what pays best. When the right call cuts against the money, I make it anyway. On the Bangkok pages I tell you to take the train and a cheap Grab bike instead of renting a scooter. That’s the opposite of a sale, and it’s the right advice. A site that only ever agrees with its own commissions isn’t worth reading, and I’d know, I’ve read enough of them.
How it works, concretely: accommodation links go to booking platforms like Agoda and Booking.com, and the kit guides link to the eSIM, banking, insurance, VPN, and rental services I recommend. When you book or sign up through one of those links, the partner credits the referral to the site. That’s the whole business model. You pay nothing extra, and the commissions cover the hosting, the research, and the time it takes to write a guide worth trusting.
If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, that’s completely fine. Search the property or the service by name and book direct; the recommendation stands either way.
